This last winter was a warm one and unfortunately that means the biting bugs didn’t die. They just hung around and waited for spring. I hate biting bugs. They make your poor dog’s/pet’s life a miserable existence. The sad thing is, allot of people do nothing. With the beautiful spring and summer coming down upon us, it’s time to take some action. I’m all for natural repellants. I do not use drops on any of my pets. Here is link to natural flea repellant: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/5-solutions-for-natural-flea-control.html. Ticks: http://www.emaxhealth.com/1275/fight-ticks-lyme-disease-natural-tick-repellents. And here is another little report www.kitsapcountyhealth.com/…/Lyme_Provider_Advisory_20130422.p
Another thing you can do is treat your yard and around your house. There are pest control people out there use natural repellants as well. Also, keeping that lawn mowed helps. A little weep wracking never hurts either.
I do not recommend that you ever try to remove the tick on your own. Go to a professional. Play it safe.
