Our History

We are located in Poulsbo, Wa. on seven acres of secluded property surrounded by trees. Our family are avid hunters and campers. It was only natural that we acquired labradors to hunt with. After hunting with guides and their dogs, we decided that it was time to get our own dog to hunt with.

Starting with our first labrador, Pepper, we quickly discovered that we loved having quality puppies and re-homing them. We acquired Ruby in September 2010 and shortly after that Belle joined us. Last summer we had two litters at the same time and found out that this is truly a labor of love. All of our pups are born in our living room and are handled from the moment they are born. We believe that by letting our females know that we are here for them and that they can depend on us they will be better dogs. So far that has worked very well. We have received great feedback from many of our clients and request for pups from future clients.

As our dogs have retired, we have gained new females to add to our family. Breeding only once year is not only good for dogs and the dispositions it is also good for us. Since we send so much of our time with the mother and puppies, it tends to leave someone at home at all times with them.
