It’s just classified as a dark yellow in color but to those of us who have a Fox Red we call them red. there is allot of history behind the color. Originally coming from a black male who threw dark yellows. There line of “reds” is beautiful and historic. And there is allot of information out there for those of you who are interested in the history. Love the color or question the color, fox red is a beautiful shade. Currently our lovely Ruby is my only fox red but hopefully she will have some puppies soon.
