Stinky Poop?

I got a question today about stinky poop.  She bought one of Belle’s pups and took him home and started changing him to a new dog food and his poops are really stating to stink.  Knock you down stink.  It is probably the dog food but it could be something else.  I know that you know your pup was given it’s 1st round of shots and wormed before he or she went home with you if you bought the pup from me but if your pup got into a puddle or a difference water source other than the water dish, stinky poop could mean something else.  I’m not a vet so I don’t diagnose but maybe you should take a poop sample into the vet .  And while you are at it, cut back on the new food and see that doesn’t help with the smell. It could be the grain in the food, rich meat (lamb) or even soy that is causing the problem.  Good luck!
